J&J Ventures 2024 VEGAS Tournament Rules                                               

Signup for Multi-league tournament April 6th 2024

Player Eligibility:

  1. The event is open to qualified J&J Ventures Amusements with the exception of Springfield market league players. 
  2. Be sanctioned by the VNEA for the 2023-2024 membership year through J&J Ventures Amusement.
  3. Play a minimum of 12 league nights with J&J Ventures Amusement between the VNEA eligibility dates of April 15,2023 and April 3rd, 2024.
  4. All players must meet all VNEA team eligibility requirements.

 

POOL TEAM TOURNAMENT INFO

ENTRY FEE: $175.00 per Open Team

                        $140.00 per Women’s Team

PLAYER/TEAM ELIGIBILITY: Any J & J Ventures ‘23-’24' Summer/Fall/Winter league player/team.

      All players/teams must meet VNEA Open team requirements listed below under Open/Women’s Pool. 

 

Open Pool

A. 5 Player teams 

B. To be eligible to compete a team must consist of 2 players from an original league team and the remaining players must come from any team in the J & J  Ventures league system.

C. Teams must compete in the team event at the VNEA to be awarded the team travel prize. If players are subsituted from the original MLT team in order to form a team for the VNEA team event then that team will only be awarded travel prizes based on the percentage of players that participated in the MLT. Example: 4 of the 5 original players from the MLT attend the VNEA team event then they are awarded 80% of the team prize earned at the MLT. At least 3 players that competed at the MLT must compete on the team at the VNEA.

D.  4 Players must have a minimum of 12 league nights and the fifth must have a minimum of 8 league nights

E. Qualifying dates from pool 4/15/23 to 4/3/24

Women’s Pool

A. 4 Player teams

B. To be eligible to compete a team must consist of 2 players from an original league team and the remaining players must come from any team in the J & J  Ventures league system.

C. Teams must compete in the team event at the VNEA to be awarded the team travel prize. If players are subsituted from the original MLT team in order to form a team for the VNEA team event then that team will only be awarded travel prizes based on the percentage of players that participated in the MLT. Example: 3 of the 4 original players from the MLT attend the VNEA team event then they are awarded 75% of the team prize earned at the MLT. At least 3 players that competed at the MLT must compete on the team at the VNEA. 

D. 3 Players must have a minimum of 12 league nights and the fourth player must have a minimum of 8 league nights

E. Qualifying dates from pool 4/15/23 to 4/3/24.

 

 

 

Multi-League Tournament (MLT)

1. Any team meeting eligibility requirements for Las Vegas based on VNEA Requirements is eligible to compete in the MLT.

2. The Players that are attending the Las Vegas Tournament are the players that a team must compete with at the MLT.

3. Tournament travel fund shall be paid to them upon their arrival in Las Vegas

Open Pool

Format is 25 games per match. Should an excessive number of teams enter, then the tournament may be changed to 20 or 15 games per match.

Teams advancing to the finals must be comprises of players who have played a minimum of 25% of the available games from the preliminary round. Example. 4 matches with 3 rounds per match x 5 games per round = 60 Team games of play divided by 5 players in the open 12 player games would be available for an individual to play. To qualify for the finals a player would have to play 3 games.

Total ball points plus any spot points will be used in determining the winners or teams advancing to the finals.  No handicap will be used.

Modified round robin and/or elimination format will be used based on the number of teams that enter the tournament

Women’s Pool

4 players per team Format is 16 games per match. Should an excessive number of teams enter, then the tournament may be changed to 12 games per match. Play will be heads up. NO HANDICAP.
